Vivian Gu grew up in Hong Kong and moved to the US in 2019 to attend Wesleyan University, where she received her BA, as well as an MA in Biology. She joined the Hussain Lab as a Research Technician in September 2024. Vivian is particularly curious about community interactions and the drivers of diversification in the vaginal microbiome.
